• The Hirer is the person who signed the Booking Application form, who must be over 23 years of age and agrees to be present at the function for which the Centre has been booked at all times and to be personally responsible for compliance under this Contract and in particular the behaviour of those on the site whether invited or not. (We strongly recommend arranging your own security and avoiding publicising your function on Social Media)

  • The hirer must familiarise him/her selves and their guests with the signs throughout the building which show what actions must be taken in case of fire or emergency.

  • The Management Committee, Officers and Staff of the Centre including car park accept no responsibility for personal injury, loss or damage to property incurred during the Hire.

  • The Hirer will put in place any necessary insurance including cancellation insurance and shall produce evidence if reasonably requested by a member of the Management Committee.

  • Any damage to the premises, furnishings or equipment on site (even that belonging third parties) during the Hire will be charged to the Hirer. Fixing is only allowed using Blu-Tack.

  • The premises are not licensed for the sale of intoxicating liquor. The Hirer shall not sell such without obtaining an appropriate licence from the appropriate authority as well as the prior written consent of the Management Committee.

  • The premises shall not be used for any purpose other than stated on the Booking Application.

  • The Hirer must ensure the site is cleared by the end of the Hire Period. A period of 30 minutes is allowed after the end of the Hire Period for clearing up.

  • The premises must be left clean and tidy. Rubbish must be placed in black bags and placed in the paladin in the car park. All windows and doors must be closed and locked.

  • The Booking Deposit of 20% of the Booking Fee must be paid with the Application. Bookings may be cancelled up to 2 months before the Hire Date without forfeiting the Booking Deposit. Cancellations within 4 weeks of the Hire Date will result in loss of the Booking Fee.

  • The Full Hire Fee and Damages Deposit must be paid not less than 4 weeks before the Hire Date.

  • The Damages Deposit will be repaid after the Hire. In the case of damage this may be after the next Management Committee meeting. The possible claim by the Management Committee in respect of damage is not limited to damage to items owned by the Committee or the Trustees, nor is it limited to the extent of the Damages Deposit. The Hirer understands and acknowledges that Third Party items are also on the site and that the Management Committee may pursue the Hirer for damages to them too.

  • The Management Committee reserves the right to:-
    • Enter the premises at any time
    • Terminate the Hire without notice upon breach of this Contract by the Hirer without refund
    • Cancel any Hire where necessary due to circumstances beyond their control and refund any monies paid to the Hirer who shall accept them in full and final settlement of all potential claims by the Hirer in respect of the Hire
